GPS disabled
Hi I just bought a mio168 but cant get the GPS to work. It just says 'GPS Disabled'. I am pretty sure that I followed all the instructions and added tomtom ok. I note that other people have had similar problems but I am afraid that 'baud4800 and com2' mean nothing at all to me ! Can anyone please suggest how I can fix this in plain english please? idiot level non technical english preferred!! thanks. |

Had the same problem with my Mio168 and TomTom3. Found the answer by going to TomTom GPS. Tap on GPS tag. The second drop-down menu at the top of the page should read 'Serial Cable on SP2' If it does not then untick the left hand box then find this setting on the second drop-down menu. After selecting the correct setting then re-tick the box. Thats if you have not already done this. All the best. |
